Hey, all! I was bored, and I remembered a conversation some of us had had on public QuickNotes a while back. It was proposed by Alison, and I thought it genius. She asked us what we thought the Zone would look like if it were real. Here's my interpretation. If you have any ideas, reply. This could get fun for creative writing!
Log in Screen: Big, stainless steel door with buttons.
Main Menu: Big, empty room with marble floor and pillars.
Who's Online?: Room with televisions that overlook the Zone.
QuickNotes: If users please, they can carry around little cell phone sort of things, and they can message all or certain users.
Premium Sign-up: Room with paperwork and cash registers.
Blackjack, Hi-Lo, and Keno: Room with checkered tile, tables, money machines, and card racks.
Sports Challenge: Room with couches, TV's, and lots of controllers.
Blingo, Anagram Mania, and Hangman: Room with chalkboards.
The Quiz System: Quiet room with tables, pencils, pencil sharpeners, tests, and scantrons.
Ventrillo: Room with tables labeled according to their topics.
Skype: Rooms that only allow two people at a time. Have couches and such.
Private Mail: Mailboxes in the main menu for each person. Must be opened with keys.
Graffiti: A huge room with loads of spray paint where you can write on the walls and if they run out of room the paint and walls are washable.
Make a New Friend and Site Statistics: A room with paperwork in which you can apply for a new friend by looking at site stats.
The Boards: Sort of like the graffiti room except there is one room for each category. The Zoners Club, a premium feature, must be opened by premium users with a key.
QuickNote History: Certain models of the cell phone sort of things must be given to the premium users and them only, so they can have access to this.
User Profiles: Room with file cabinets and paperwork.
Happy Birthday: Is announced over a speaker at the beginning of each day. If missed, can be looked up in a room with file cabinets by users.
Edit Account: One room for each user in which they can modify their profile info.
Zone Users Mailing List: A room with paperwork. Mail will be sent to the Zoners' regular mailbox.
Last 100 Log-ins: Is shown on a TV in the main menu.
Log out: Press a certain button on the door and walk out.
...also a caffeteria for all the various food fights!!!! *smile* ...also a park setting for to take guide dogs on walks as well as park benches provided for Zoner Friends to sit and share in conversation in a pleasant setting of fresh air....
Oooh good one CG! Um... and there'd be a swing set! Yay!

Tracey, one day we were all talking on public QuickNotes a while back, and Alison proposed that idea. So I was bored, remembered it, and I wrote down what I thought everything would look like.
Might be kinda neat too if there was this great big splashy fountain/pool to where one could go and SPLASH! to both have some F*U*N as well as to "cool off" if get into some major heated argument with a fellow Zoner. *grin*

It would be a bunch of really cozy slightly shabby couches.
And if we're going to have guide dogs, we better get lots of pooper scoopers too.
